Wallace Dean Johnson is educational director and founder for the group of Accura companies. He created and trademarked the Accura name in 1988 under a copyrite filing for a chemical formula. This formula was used in protyping models for the jewelry manufacturing company he was operating at the time.
After spending a short time in the Marine Corps, Dean Johnson worked for Ray Geophysical in Houston, Texas from 2/1/60 until 6/1/62. While there he was in charge of records for the research department and the asset records department for the overseas and domestic department. He found that the company had been improperly keeping records that caused them to overpay their taxes, by changing their records to reflect new US IRS codes, the company was able to retrieve a little over six million in tax dollars, by filing amended return for the previous year and the current filing year. Ray Geophysical used the tax dollar savings to purchase three new companies to merge with their operations.
In June of 1962 Dean left Ray Geophysical and formed an automatic merchandise vending company. The company provided vending machines for industries with large number of employees needing food, drink and snack services, and this was the way to provide economical and quality food service. These were automated lunch rooms that were restocked by the service vending company employee. These were our silent salesman on the job 24 hours a day. This business was providing services for the Houston area for 11 years.
Then in February of 1972 he disolved the company and formed a jewelry manufacturing company that he operated until December 1996.
While in the jewelry manufacturing industry Mr. Johnson was the first to use silicone products to make wax pattern molds for reproduction of jewely products. He also developed a chemical formula, a polymer based chemical, to make two demensional prototype models to make silicone molds. These prototypes were of charms, belt buckles, panels for rings (class rings), and many other parts for jewelry items. Some of these models were also used to make electroformed molds for plastic injection of parts. The Accura-Art\Carved chemical process, using graphic arts negatives, was used to make jewelry models, sandblasted wood signs, sandblasted memorial markers, models for electroforming and patterns for electrical discharge machines (EDM) mandrels.
Dean Johnson's educational background, besides his experiences through the school of 'hard knocks', is with University of Houston for accounting and business law, Eastern New Mexico University for Microsoft products and various other industrial training for low voltage and data communications for various industries by taking their training seminars.
From 6/1/1962 untill 11/7/2007, Mr. Johnson has been an entreprenuer. National Research Labs in Albuquerque haas been his only other employer. He guit National Research Labs in March 2009 to regain his work freedom and to do what he loves best. To help and train others in their pursuit of 'freedom' from an employer.
